Troubleshooting¶
This page describes common troubleshooting steps for issues you may encounter in the portal. If a problem persists after trying the steps below, please report it to support@duneframework.com and include screenshots and the steps to reproduce the issue.
Page Reload¶
The portal is a Single Page Application (SPA). Occasionally, the UI may show a stale or mismatched state. Try reloading the page first:
Click your browser's refresh/reload button.

Keyboard shortcuts:
- Windows: F5 (refresh), Ctrl+F5 (hard refresh)
- macOS: Cmd+R (refresh), Shift+Cmd+R (hard refresh)
Delete Cookies¶
The portal uses cookies for session and functional state. Corrupted or outdated cookies can cause unexpected behaviour.
Clearing cookies will sign you out and you will need to log in again. The steps below show how to remove cookies in Google Chrome.
Clear Portal Cookies in Google Chrome¶
-
Open Developer Tools: Menu (three dots in the top right corner) > More tools > Developer tools.

Keyboard shortcuts:
- Windows: F12
- macOS: Option+Cmd+I
-
In Developer Tools select the Application tab. Under Cookies find the portal's site entry (the duneframework URL), right-click it and choose Clear.

-
Reload the page as described in the Page Reload section above.
Clear Local Storage¶
The portal stores some settings and UI state in your browser's local storage. If the local storage becomes corrupted or contains invalid data, you may see incorrect behavior. Try clearing the local storage if the Page Reload and the Delete Cookies approaches do not solve the issue you are facing.
Clearing the local storage will reset custom settings such as custom layouts for Dune Core Elements, selected themes, table filters, number of items per page, etc. You will also be signed out and will need to log in again.
Clear the Portal Local Storage in Google Chrome¶
-
Open Developer Tools: Menu (three dots in the top right corner) > More tools > Developer tools.

Keyboard shortcuts:
- Windows: F12
- macOS: Option+Cmd+I
-
In Developer Tools select the Application tab. Under Local storage find the portal's site entry (the duneframework URL), right-click and choose Clear.

-
Reload the page like detailed in Page Reload
Unauthorized Account¶
If you are using multiple Microsoft accounts in the same browser, an existing session for an account without access to the Dune tenant may prevent you from signing in correctly. If that happens you may see an error similar to the image below.
Click Use Different Account and authenticate with an account that has access to the tenant. You may be redirected through the Microsoft login flow to complete the sign-in.

If switching accounts doesn't help, verify that the account you're using has been granted access to the correct tenant by your administrator.
Still Having Issues?¶
- Try the steps above in an Incognito/Private window (this disables most extensions and uses a clean session).
- Disable browser extensions (some ad blockers or privacy tools can interfere with authentication or app scripts).
- Open the browser's Developer Tools Console (Console tab) and check for errors. Copy any relevant error messages when reporting the issue to support.
- Collect the following when you contact support: browser name and version, the URL, screenshots, steps to reproduce, and any console error messages.
If none of the above resolves the problem, send the collected information to support@duneframework.com.
